By using 1099Calc, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Service description

1099Calc provides free, no-signup tax-estimation tools and educational content for self-employed and 1099 workers.

3. As-is, no warranties

The calculator output and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

4. Not professional advice

Estimates produced by 1099Calc are not tax, legal, financial, investment, accounting, or career advice. Always consult a qualified tax professional before filing a return, and a qualified financial advisor before making an employment decision based on calculator output.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloud Syndicate, LLC and 1099Calc disclaim all liability for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on calculator output. Total aggregate liability is capped at zero dollars (US$0).

6. Intellectual property

Site content (text, design, code, brand assets) is © 2026 Cloud Syndicate, LLC. The specific numerical outputs you generate using the calculator (your own numbers) belong to you and are not subject to copyright.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) scrape the site at a rate that degrades service for other users, (b) reverse-engineer the calculator math in order to misrepresent it, (c) rebrand or republish the site as your own product, or (d) use the site in violation of applicable law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cloud Syndicate, LLC against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts of Texas.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

11. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and 1099Calc.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
